An Enchanting Tower Defense Game Despite the Pixels

Miniature TD VR is a tower defense game offering a non-standard gaming experience. The game entails you building towers and defending your base from the monsters.

Playing Modes

Miniature TD offer three playing modes: classical, endless and infinite wave. The classical mode would remind you of conventional tower defense games, with a map having an exit and two entrances. You are expected to beat the incoming onslaught of enemies from within the dark dungeon. You’ll see several curved paths in the map. Therefore, strategically place your towers. The endless mode tests how long you could withstand the incessant monster wave. To mitigate the monster population building up, it is important to get rid of them swiftly. You could use both short and long range towers to do so. And you reach the infinite wave mode when you clear all the stages and want more challenging monsters.

Game Controls and Availability

As aforementioned, you would be put up against monsters to defend your tower. The cute monsters include chefs, magicians and dinosaurs. Use VR controllers for dragging and dropping towers on the floating map. You are not expected to just watch the towers passively. Instead, you must take a weapon and participate in the battle, bombarding enemies and firing explosives. The game is available for HTC Vive and Oculus Rift VR handsets on Steam. If you’re using the Oculus Rift, you would require Oculus touch controllers, as you would need tracked motion controllers.
